We all need healthcare. And we're lucky to live in a city that has some of the best hospitals and healthcare providers in the world. But assuming that the one remaining insurance company pulls out of the Affordable Care Act exchange for East Tennessee in 2018, tens of thousands of people in Knoxville will lose their current health insurance. We need to talk with our state and national representatives about what’s next in terms of policy and legislation. And we need to brainstorm about what we can do locally to help our neighbors not lose their ability to access healthcare for themselves and their families.
